At Good News Church, we have a “come as you are” environment. Whether you’ve never been to church before or you’re a Sunday regular, you’ll be welcomed. Because we know that attending a worship service for the first time can feel awkward for some, we have put together this page to let you know what you can expect during your time with us. Below are some commonly asked questions:

What happens sunday morning?

We meet for Sunday Morning worship service at 10:00 AM. Please, come early if you can because there is limited seating in the sanctuary and once the seats are filled, worshippers will be asked to sit in the overflow area where they can participate in worship via video.

Sunday School for adult, Sr. High, Jr. High and Elementary begins at 11:15 AM.

And yes, we will be following all DE COVID-19 guidance during Sunday Morning worship and Sunday School.

what should I wear?

We welcome you to dress comfortably and be yourself. The general rule is "Come as you are!" We want to meet your real-life needs and aren’t worried about what you wear.

What is available for children?

Our nursery (infant-2 years old) is staffed by friendly and loving members of our church, all of which have had background checks. We also have a program for the kids called Junior church (3 years old – Kindergarten). The kids sing songs that are age-appropriate, and the message is tailored to reach them. We want our children to love coming to church, and our worship nursery and Junior church are designed for that to happen. You are also welcome to keep your children with you during worship. You can rest assured that the safety and security of your children is a top priority at Good News Church.

Childcare is available during the worship service for infants-kindergarten age. Extra COVID precautions are taken.

Sunday School for children from K-5th grade is available from 11:15 - 12:00 PM.
